This document was written in good faith to honestly describe how TASKMAKER.CA works, but it has not been written or reviewed by a legal professional. 1. Who we are

TASKMAKER.CA is a free project and task management application. For any question regarding this policy or your data, you can write to us at support@myeztag.ca.

2. What data we collect

To operate, the application records:

Your full name, email address, and a password (stored encrypted, never in plain text);
Your company name;
Content you create yourself: project and task titles and descriptions, comments, logged work hours, planned and due dates;
Technical metadata: your account creation date, your last login date, and your IP address at the time of certain actions (for logging and security purposes);
Usage preferences (e.g., the sort order chosen on certain pages), stored via technical cookies necessary for the site to function.

We do not collect any payment data (the application is free) and do not use any advertising or third-party analytics tracking tools.

3. Why we collect this data

To create and secure your account (authentication);
To allow you to manage your projects, tasks, and the time spent on them;
To send you emails strictly related to your account (registration confirmation, password reset, invitations);
To ensure the security of the application (audit log of important actions).

4. Who your data is shared with

Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. It is visible only to the other active members of your company within the application, according to the permissions associated with their role.

The technical hosting of the application and its database is provided by a third-party web hosting provider (GoDaddy). Transactional emails are sent through the same server's infrastructure.

5. How long your data is kept

Your data is kept as long as your account remains active. If you or your company's administrator delete your account, your directly identifiable personal information is erased; some data related to projects or tasks may be kept if needed to preserve the integrity of data shared with other members of your company (for example, the history of a project you contributed to).

6. Your rights

Depending on your place of residence, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you;
Have inaccurate information corrected (directly via your profile, or by contacting your company's administrator);
Request the deletion of your account and your personal data;
Request an exportable copy of your data.

To exercise these rights, contact your company's administrator within the application, or write to us directly at support@myeztag.ca. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Security

Passwords are encrypted (bcrypt) and are never stored or visible in plain text, including by us. Access to each company's data is technically isolated from other companies using the application. Communications with the site are encrypted (HTTPS).

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The last update date is shown at the top of this page. By continuing to use TASKMAKER.CA after a change, you accept the updated version.
